There are many opportunities to experience the history of the Orillia area such as at the Stephen Leacock Museum and the Orillia Museum of Art & History. The artists of the area are famous for pottery, sculpture and painting. The heritage of the area is also enriched by the traditions and art of the First Nations Peoples. Wye Marsh (for nature lovers), St. Marie Among the Hurons, and Discovery Harbour are only a very few of the interesting features in the area. A visit to the area is not complete without visiting Mariposa Market, the Rama Moccasin Shop and the Farmer's Market every Saturday morning. The Trans Canada Trail system touches the rear of our property.
